No. Latest distributions of Linux are much easier than Windows. Linux developers are trying to compete with Apple not with Windows.
Can I install software like latest versions of Photoshop, Ms office, VirtualDJ etc on Linux?
Yes, indeed.
Do I have to use command line to use Linux?
No, Those who use either Windows or Mac will feel at home at Linux.
Is there any other reason to move into Linux?
Yes here is a few
- It is much safer than Windows.
- No frustrating update install.
- No firewall and anti-virus required
- Hence less resources used, means less power used.
- OS crash is very less compared to the Windows.
How to try Linux without installing on my computer?
Yes, download Linux mint, burn it into a CD and load Linux from CD without installing. Try Linux as much as you want, once you feel comfortable with Linux you can install Linux by formatting windows.
